30% of the proceeds of our I <3 Lenapehoking tees go directly to the Munsee Delaware (Lenape) Language and History Group, working on language revitalization and reinvigoration! We are so honored to live, work and create on the traditional homelands of the Lenape, and work to acknowledge the land we reside on.
The Munsee Delaware Language & History Group
"The Munsee Delaware Language and History Group support Indigenous leadership in researching and teaching about Munsee people, a band of the Lenape Tribe, our communities, language, and territories. This Group made up mostly of Munsee Delaware Nation band members, has worked together for many years to study and teach Munsee language and history at home and in surrounding academic communities. This work consists largely of weekend workshops held in the community which generate additional small group projects."
